But, first, let’s talk about blocking people on the iPhone.

It is a super short process. Just follow the guide and you’ll gain the superpower to block people from ever calling you until you decide to unblock them.

How to Block a Number that Recently Called You?

Step 1: Unlock your phone, and open up the phone app.

Step 2: Access the list of people who have recently called you.

Step 3: Next select, “Recents” < “All”, to bring up the most recent on the top.

Step 4: Click on the “i” icon to the right of the phone number you want to block.

Step 5: Click, “Block this Caller”.

Step 6: Lastly, you will receive an informing message that you will not receive any phone calls, messages, or FaceTime if you go further.

How to Block a Number in Your Contacts List?

Step 1: Open up the Contacts app on your phone.

Step 2: Search through the contact number that you would like to block.

Step 3: Tap the number that you want to block.

Step 4: Tap, “ Block this Caller”.

Step 5: Now, a pop-up message will appear on your screen informing you that you won’t be able to receive any phone calls, messages, and Facetime, after blocking this contact.

Step 6: Select, “Block Contact”.

Note: The number won’t be deleted from your phone, but will be visible in the list of the blocked contact.

How to Block a Contact Via FaceTime?

Step 1: Open up the Settings app on your phone.

Step 2: Scroll through the screen, and select, “Facetime”.

Step 3: Wait for a few seconds for the Facetime to activate and the menu to appear on your screen.

Step 4: Open up the menu, and select, “Blocked”.

Step 5: A list of all the blocked numbers will appear on your screen, here click, “Add New”.

Step 6: Now, you will be redirected to your contact list. Here, select the contact that you don’t want to contact through Facetime.
