How to Change Your Facebook Password on the Web?

Step 1: Open up the Facebook website, and log into your account.

Step 2: Click on the drop-down menu near the right top corner of your screen, to open up the menu.

Step 3: From the menu, select, “Settings & Privacy.

Click on the drop-down arrow in the top-right corner and select "Settings & Privacy"

Step 4: Select, “Settings”.

Click the "Settings" option

Step 5: Now select “Security and Login” <“Change Password”.

Select "Security and Login" from the sidebar and then click "Change Password"

Step 6: Then, enter the old password, and the new password that you want to have for your Facebook account. In case the password will be too short or weak, Facebook will inform you and ask you to select some other password.

Step 8: Select, “Save Changes.”

Step 9: Then, if you have changed the password because you believe that someone else also has access to your password, select “Log Out of Other Devices.” 

But, if you have changed the password as a precautionary measure, select, “Stay Logged In.”

How to Change Your Facebook Password on iPhone, iPad, or Android?

Step 1: Open up the Facebook app on your device.

Step 2: Tap on the hamburger menu bar near the top left corner of the screen, to open up the menu.

Step 3: From the menu, select, “Settings & Privacy” < “Settings.”

Tap on the menu button, expand "Settings & Privacy," and select "Settings"

Step 4: Select, “Password and Security”.

Step 6: Type in your existing password, and new password. And select, “Update Password” to update your new Facebook password.

Step 1: Open up the Facebook app on your phone.

Step 2: Open up the menu by clicking on the downward arrow.

Step 3:  From the opened window, select, “Settings & Privacy.”

Step 4: Select, “Settings.”

Step 5: Select, “Security & Login”.

Step 6: Select, “Use two-factor authentication.”

Step 7: Select, “Use test message (SMS),” and follow the prompts to complete the process of implementing two-factor authentication, to open up your Facebook app.
