Things to know before returning the Optimum equipment:
  1. In case you are not sure about your account number, you can find it here: optimum.net/pay-bill, near the upper left corner of your bill.
  2. Optimum allows you a 30 days window to return the product once you have canceled their service. 
  3. Make sure to include the modem, router, and digital antenna while returning the package.
  4. For damaged products, you might attract a penalty.
  5. Optimum will send you a confirmation email after receiving the equipment

How to Return the Optimum Equipment in Person?

Step 1: Uninstall the equipment you want to return, and pack the equipment with all the remotes and power cords. 

Step 2: Now, on the box either paste the Optimum bill or write your address, your name, zip code, and account number.

Step 3: Create the return label to ship the package by clicking here. Provide the required information and press, “Get Label”.

Step 4: Remove any old labels on the box, and paste the new, “Return Label” on the box.

Step 5: Drop the box at Walgreens, FedEx Office, or any authorized FedEx location.

Step 6: Ask for the receipt kept as evidence of mailing the package.
